Sisters in Crime Chapter Meeting. Monthly meeting of the Indiana chapter of Sisters in Crime, an international organization of readers and writers who work to raise the visibility of women in the mystery genre. The chapter normally meets on the fourth Saturday of each month here at The Mystery Company. Speakers discuss a wide range of topics, including forensics and publishing issues. Meetings are open to all, regardless of membership in SinC. This month's program, which begins at noon, is a stellar group of historical novelists -- James Alexander Thom, Dark Rain Thom, Beverle Graves Myers and Terence Faherty -- will discuss how writers conduct both on-site and archival research for historical fiction.
